We found out about this place when the person we trust most with our pets, Stephanie, began working here. We took the chance although it's a 30-minute drive from our house in... Auburndale because we were looking for a daycare for our 7-month-old boxer, Luka. I figured we'd give it a try and then move on. Well, I was WRONG! Everyone here is so nice and Luka is so happy when he goes to daycare that I can't say enough good things about Happy Pets! My dog was boarded here for 7 days, while I went on vacation. I wanted my dog to have a "spa" experience. I ordered a bath, nail cutting and several days with one on one play.... Happy Pets will always be my first and only choice when it comes to my girls!!! The staff are kind and courteous and took very good care of my dogs. I am an OTR Truck Driver, and... I ran into and issue where what was supposed to be them enrolled in the Doggie Day Care program turned into a short week long stay, that THEN turned into a well extended month long stay. The staff here were extremely understanding and accommodating of my situation. They were also very patient with me when I would call and ask for updates all the time and ask many questions about everything from their feeding schedule to their potty training.. They always take care of our pups! So far we have used them for some weekend trips but just used them for a whole week away from our pups. I have a relaxed terrier mix and a... chihuahua who is the exact opposite. My chihuahua used to be scared of strangers but did not even look back when we dropped him off. And they genuinely love our dogs. Everyone we have met has been so kind and helpful. Very clean and very organized system of care. Affordable and grooming services available. I took my kid Syd in to board for a week while I was on vacation. First impression, they are very organized and attentive. Reception was friendly and when they came to take Syd... back, the girl took him outside right away and when she came back started saying how much she loved him. Reception made sure to document everything I brought for him, how to feed him, and what medications he was taking. He was in an indoor/outdoor run, but they offered playtimes which made me feel better that he wasn't kenneled the whole time. When I returned from vacation, and I told them I was here to pick him up, they all said how he was a favorite and everyone loved him. He came out all clean, nails grinded perfectly and had on a cute bandana. You can really tell the staff at Happy Pets care about your pet. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone and will be using them in the future!read more
I have 2 large dogs and one who is very sensitive about not being at home with mom. Always had to sedate him if leaving at the vet. He love it here. Never had a problem.
